These 3 crazies are beautify Fashion Star each and every week. Theodore Leaf can be seen on the show while heading the Suave hair department and calling all the shots on what looks best on the models’ heads while wearing the contestants’ designs. You might remember him from Shear Genius! Julianne Kaye can be seen on the show, heading up the Maybelline makeup department. You might remember her as Britney Spears’ makeup artist for FOUR years! She calls the shots on the pigments and styles that you see on the faces of our models… and than there’s me. I, Daniel Musto, am the head of the wardrobe department. Together, we beautify your tv screen, all while having a blast. We watched the show at Julianne’s house last night and Tweeted live together. Check us out weekly for behind-the-scenes feedback during the show.
With “High End/Low End” as their mission this week, the designers hit many high points, as well as low points! Check out my exclusive recap on Hollywood Life’s website.

The concept at-hand was a swimsuit fashion show during LMFAO’s performance on the show.
Initially, we wanted to dress the models in bright colors to coincide with LMFAO’s image. Last minute, we decided that a “black and white” story would pop harder against the performance. With the help of amazing shoes and accessories, the opening act to our summer-themed episode was a hit!
Had lunch in Bel Air for 5.5 hours today with Julianne Kaye (Fashion Star’s on-camera makeup artist representing Maybelline).
We left hungry… but only because we talked for 4.5 hours after we were done eating.
I am feeling inspired.
We are about to take you over.
